To much search results (GER)
Hi Guido,
since Scenic 4 in my opinion, there are to much search results. To explain :
If I search the town „Dipperz“ as first I get shown „Dipperz, Hessen, Germany“ (see picture) … so far, so good. I like to go to Dipperz middle of the city, so I take the first result
But in the upcoming results ( see picture) I get there are nearly 30 points shown in the card … now I have to search in the card or scroll the list … in this case to pos 28 …
In my opinion, if I click the shown result, it would be nice, to get exactly there and do not get results in a 20km-area … this you can shown maybe in an additional list …

Is it a mistake, I do, can I make something different??
By the way, best navigation ever and allways extremly good and fast support … appreciate 👍🏻👍🏻

That would be no problem in germany, but outside online is not so good …

Scenic 4 uses Apple search results for Online. If those results are not sufficient you can tap the “try Google search” button at the bottom of the search results.
The map provider is also working on online search. When they have that ready, the online search will return same results as offline search.

Is it not possible to find one result when I search a city f. e. And show this at place one … when there are additional results … put them behind …

I know exactly what you mean! A name search returns results in order of proximity, so, the closest result is #1, and on from there. The problem in my area is that all of the main roads between towns, which are always referred to by their route number, have actual street names that change when the border line between towns is reached. The road's name is usually the name of the town the road leads to. For example, to go from Camden to Belfast, you take route 1 all the way, but when you head out of Camden you're on Belfast Road... until you reach the Camden town line on that road, then the name changes... but it's all Route 1. Each town near Belfast has a similar "Belfast Road."
This is a problem because when you're in Camden and you search for the town of Belfast, you get 28 results which include the street name "Belfast Road" in their address, all in a line leaving town. Then you get further results on other roads named "Belfast Road." Eventually, you get to Belfast - number 30 at the bottom of the list. Anywhere there is a road with the name matching the town you've searched for, you get this long crazy list of every address on the road, even if it's not the location you're looking for.
Maybe in the future, the search feature can include some kind of a user selection: searching for town (or city) name, or other...
