Switching off street names

I can add an "infitiny" option so that menus and popup don't close automatically (or after a very long time). That's pretty easy. Will see if I can add that for next update.

Regarding removing the street name in Overview mode... that's not possible as that would require a complete reload of the map (basiscally you would have to load a different map style). What I recommend is to create a custom map style that makes town/city names stand out from street names (give them a different color perhaps).
