Stop in route text
Quote from gleeson2351 on 28.02.2022, 22:17Hi, when adding a "stop" in a route you name the stop, can the text appear on the screen in real time when you reach that stop? Maybe a the App may already have this feature but I cant work out how to activate it.
It is would be handy when you have a large group & like the example above, let them know that we are stopping here for fuel & regrouping. It would have to be large font with a bright back ground for those who don't blue tooth & maybe a notification noise for those who do.
By the way, awesome App. thanks for all your hard work.

Quote from Guido on 01.03.2022, 05:53This already works. When you reach (get within 50 meters) of a stop you’ll see a bar appear at the top of tbe screen saying ‘Reached Stopname’. This message will also be spoken as audio instruction.

Quote from Farmwinger on 18.09.2022, 20:18Approaching "whatever the stop is" at a mile away would be much more useful. If you don't know you are at the stop when within 50 meters, you are going to miss it anyway, at 60 mph that's only a couple of seconds travel time.

Quote from Guido on 19.09.2022, 07:22Stops also get regular turn instructions. The normal ‘arrow’ you see top left will have a stop marker icon and the distance to that next turn is distance to that stop.
When you get really close you’ll also get the message like discussed above. This works, except when the stop is right after an actual turn.
Besides that you can set the ETA and DTA at the bottom to show distance to next stop in stead of distance to final destination, or alternate between them: Settings > Navigation & Tracking > Show distance and time to.
Also, you can show the route timeline by tapping on the ETA / DTA bar at the bottom, which will give you distance and time to next stop and all stops in the route
And then finally, you’ll see the stop marker on the map if you zoom out enough or tap the overview button in the navigation menu (big button menu).
Hope this helps/explains. If not or if you have other questions please let me know. Happy to help.
Best regards and ride safe,
Guido
