Sound issue on my car

Hi folks,

need your help.

Settings:

Scenic 4.18

VW Discover Media latest updates Carplay

iPhone 11pro IOS 18.4.1

Today i tried the new map style (Michelin) looks great. Thanks.

I had some issues with voice commands and muted my radio to be sure that my changes had any effect.
After each command my radio was back on basic sound level and i needed to set it to zero again.

Problem: Your in complex scenario and you dont want radio to disturb you.

My workaround in carplay: open spotify, start playlist, press pause. That helped.

Question:

Anyone similar experiences, any hint what to do, or a solution?

Try toggling the ‘Voice Prompt Mode’ switch. If it’s on now turn it off. If it’s off now turn it on. Settings > Sound & Voice interactions > voice and sound. Bottom row.

Thanks Guido.

That worked on my way back home.

But each time i did a break, with my almost 86 year old mummy it didn‘t reconnect. I could solve it by restarting the route, and Scenic recognized: i dont want to go back to startpoint. 600 km and i set just 2 vias. But it happened after each break (3).

Any hints? Of course the window popped up: Scenic was shut down unexpacticly; you should translate this message more precise.
I tried everything the hints told me, but always needed to restart.

As mentioned above: any hints?
