Skipping waypoints with Motive Monkey

I am probably being extremely stupid but I simply cannot work out how to skip waypoints and stops with this handle bar controller.

It is the action I need to do most often and I simply can work out how to do it.

Can anyone explain ?

Kevin

I do have it set up to use the right button to skip the via point

The Way KM shove you, is correct.
You can designate this functin to any keystroke you like.
It is important to notice, though, that the 4.16 (I think it was ) version Scenic did not have this option by accident. so check your version. Version 4.17 is okay😊

Thanks

I was the KM !!

I have 2 phones and when I checked realised I'd set this option on the wrong phone - my incompetence !

As I am representing MotiveMonkey as volunteer, I would like to hear how you use it and if you are satisfied 🙂

Cheers, Johan

Hi,

does anyone know how to do the settings of the Barbuttons for the same function (skipping next WP)? I tried the setting if the MM, but Barbuttons have 8 Buttons and none of them has changed after the chenge of the setting. I am pretty happy with the basic setting, but one button is w/o function and the skip WP would be perfect on that position.

I will try my MM as well but currently I do not use them because the Barbuttons offer more options like panning the map when using Carplay.

I guess you know the MM has six functions on the four buttons as you have long press on the left and right button in addition. Personally, I have  Skip next waypoint on left button long press. 😊

I know, but panning is not included and therefore it does not help me.

edit: sorry panning is possible but not at the same time with zooming. I prefer to zoom in and then move the map(pan), but in that case Scenic goes back to the initial zoom level when using MM - thats why I currently prefer Barbuttons because both is possible at the same time

BTW Johan,

are all six functions available when using Carplay or is that related to the Iphone only?

edit: please ignore the question…..just saw that Carplay allows only zoom and pan
