Share Link then Add to Scenic from “messenger”

When I share a link from Scenic to either text messenger or Facebook Messenger upon tapping the shared link I get the following;

“add to Scenic” takes me to the Scenicapp.space Web portal and I have to log in. I can live with this but it annoys my friends who say “I’ve got Scenic on my phone and it works without me logging in, I can’t remember my details - can this go straight into navigation?”

can the “add to Scenic” option open the import que in the App if the App is installed? Like it does from saved files.

Technically this is possible. I’ll add it to the list with low priority as I think this is only a slight inconvenience to be honest.

Your browser can remember your login so you’ll only have to enter this info once. Obviously you’ll need to remember your login info of course 🙂

The reason why it’s implemented like this is so that the link can also be opened on a device where Scenic is not installed. Like your desktop. Nevertheless it should be possible to do an automatic check and have Scenic open automatically if it’s installed on the device.
