Scenic thinks it at the end when starting even when they are slightly different.
Quote from Dad-rideagain on 16.10.2025, 19:16(I think I saw this here before but can't find it and that post suggested a solution to put the start and end points apart, which I have done.) Sometimes when starting a route scenic says it is at the end. Or if I separated them but the return route is thesame as the outgoing route near the end (common) it directs me straight to the end rather than the route. I've tried putting the end different from the start however, it still does it sometimes when out and back are the same.
These routes have via's but may not have any stops. "Don't recalculate" is selected. Today even when I was on the outgoing route for a few miles it kept telling me turn around or that I was near the end. The continued non-stop until I stopped the bike and restarted the whole route.
Thank you
Lary

Quote from Guido on 16.10.2025, 19:23The main reason for this happening is "Don't recalculate". With this setting, if you are not on the route / deviate from the route, then Scenic will start "scanning" if you're close to the route again. If "the way back" is closer (or maybe even the same) it will assume you joined the route there. Try with "guide me to first unreached via point".
