"Scenic quit unexpectedly during a ride" errors

Been experiencing app crash issues lately. Started happening about a couple weeks ago, but never experienced this before that. I use the app as normal, start it up at the beginning of a ride. Make some stops along the way while also opening and using other apps during the ride like iMessage, Camera, checking email, etc.
Eventually when I go back to view the app I get the error "Scenic quit unexpectedly during a ride" screen, with option to discard, save or resume ride. On my last ride it happened twice. The second time I captured some more screens to compare the ride stats with another GPS tracking app (Geotag Photos) I also use for different photography-related purpose which I have run concurrently with Scenic for the last three riding seasons without any issues. I have included screen captures from both of these apps on the web link below with description of images just below each image.

My Scenic app version (v3.55) and My iOS version (17.3.1) are current.
I am pretty sure that running scenic alongside the Geotag Photos app is not the issue, since this also happens when they are not running simultaneously. I have also allowed Scenic app location access on iPhone as "Always", which I think is an app requirement.
Can you offer any suggestions as to why I am seeing these unexpected app quits?
Also: I see in other posts where one can get/see the app's crash report. Not sure how to do that, so let me know if you need me to supply you those.
Lastly, thanks for this great app!

Quote from Guido on 18.03.2024, 11:36I'm not seeing any crash reports related to your account. This could mean that it's memory related (i.e. iOS "kills" Scenic because it's using too much memory). I'll investigate if there is a memory leak somewhere. I.e. if memory is growing while you are switching back and forth between Scenic and other apps.

Quote from iSilentP on 03.05.2024, 06:52I'm still seeing the issue. I've deleted a bunch of apps that I no longer use thinking it will help, but not so. I know that this only happens when the app is running in the background. If always on my screen, no issues.
I usually also have 2 other apps that use GPS receiver running simultaneously-- Waze and Geotag Photos Pro (https://www.geotagphotos.net/) which may cause issues for Scenic. I've been using Waze and Geotag Photos simultaneously for at least 4 years now with no issues between them. Thoughts?

Quote from Guido on 03.05.2024, 11:44There is a crash in the HERE framework that I’ve not been able to link to a practical situation yet. Perhaps this is it. I’ll have another look at the crash reports to see if I can figure it out.

Quote from Kenneth on 06.12.2024, 08:15I realize I'm replying late to this post, but I have had the same problem that occurred at the start of my last two trips recently. I'm getting down the road maybe 10 miles or so from my start point, and I see that Scenic is not showing my route on Carplay anymore. I stop and pull out my phone and it says that Scenic quit unexpectedly. I have to restart the route on my phone. After restarting and continuing it doesn't give me any more problems. Any thoughts on other things that I can check?

Quote from Guido on 09.12.2024, 17:27This probably means that Scenic crashed during a ride while connected to CarPlay. If you are not on v4.07 yet (it's being rolled out over 7 days starting last friday), could you update manually? https://apps.apple.com/app/id1089668246 It has some stability improvements for this.
