Scenic modifies saved route

When I want to modify a route that I had saved, Scenic automatically regenerates (modifies) the route. I am no longer able to navigate or edit a version that I have already saved. Last season (summer) that never append.

All recorded routes have lost configuration preferences for routing (e.g. avoid highway, avoid unpaved path...)

I have more than 100 saved routes and share (public) the people who will import it will find that the routes are not beautiful, because the routing preferences are no longer there and Scenic will take the highways... How I can fix it?

In February, Scenic v3.5 was released. Scenic v3.5 uses a new map framework and a new routing algorithm. That’s why routes created with the older version of Scenic can become different. The routing modes and avoidances should be kept though. Based on this mode and avoidances, Scenic calculates the route again with the new algorithm. This can result in a different route, but more often than not, it should be the same. The routing algorithm is not that different. It also depends on how many stops/via points are in the route.

To edit routes, you can select it from your route list and then select “edit points”.

I know this is not the answer you were hoping for, but I hope it at least explains.
