Zooming: Schön wäre, wenn die Karte dorthin vergrössert, wo der Mauspfeil ist. Im Moment zoomt die Karte die Mitte des Bildschirms grösser.

Ich habe dies zur Liste hinzugefügt und werde es untersuchen, wenn es die Zeit erlaubt. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob dies möglich ist, da die App, die auf MacOS läuft, die iPad-App ist (und das iPad hat keinen Mauszeiger)

Routenimport: Wenn ich die 2. Route importiere und auf Importieren klicke, wird der Bildschirm der zuvor importierten Route geöffenet und ich muss zuerst zurückspringen auf die Liste mit allen zu importierenden Routen. Importieren sollte aus meiner Sicht direkt zur Liste führen.

How are you importing? With the WebApp or right-clicking a GPX file in Finder and then opening with Scenic? This was a problem in earlier versions of Scenic, but it was resolved quite a while back. Perhaps the fix did not work on MacOS. Would you mind sending me the file you were trying to import? (You can use the email button at the bottom of the help page to send it to me).

Neues Feature: In Kurviger gibt es die Funktion "Punkte neben der Strasse auf die nächstgelegene Strasse setzen". Das wäre auch für scenic wünschenswert.

Es steht auf der Liste der Funktionsanforderungen, aber im Moment kein Prioritätspunkt. Scenic hat eine Schwelle von etwa 50 Metern. Mit anderen Worten, ein Via-Punkt kann 50 Meter von einer Straße entfernt sein, und die Route wird immer noch so berechnet, als ob sie auf der Straße wäre.

• zooming by holding the "Command key" and swipe / scroll the mouse up or down
  • zooms simply to and from the center
• zooming with the pointer moved somewhere and pinching with two fingers
  • zooms towards the pointer
  • zooming_macos screen-recording

I imported with the WebApp several routes. They were listed correctly. I imported and adpted the first route, then saved it. Clicking then "Import" lead me back to page with the already imported route. With the arrow on top left, I had to go back the the list of all importable routes. I propose, that clicking "Import" leads dierctly to the list of the files, that can be imported.

Thanks for your input. I watched your screencast: that's what I am asking for. How does it work on macOS? Pinching is working on iPad.

Ok you got me - I am using it on a MacBook and so I do use the touchpad and not a mouse …

but if you do have an Apple Magic Mouse you can enable the gestures as well on the mouse to do exactly the same

Hi @rideaxman,

you are using the "smart zoom" feature Apple describes for Websites and PDFs where on double click it zooms in and another double click zooms out.

For Scenic, zooming is actually straight forward but requires to press the command ⌘ key:

• while moving the map around using the magic mouse or using two fingers on the touchpad
• by holding the "Command ⌘ key" and swiping  up or down enables zooming
  • it is zooming to the center, but not to the location of the pointer in case you moved that to a specific place
• zooming towards the pointer on the touchpad
  • instead of just swiping up or down you pinch with your two fingers
  • zooms towards the pointer
