Scenic MacOS
Quote from johnnysneds on 25.11.2022, 00:57Wow what a lovely surprise that was. I just purchased a MacBook Air M2 and thought, wouldn't it be great to be able to edit and create rides on an App for it. I thought I would visit the forum to see if there has been any future requests made. Lo and behold I was greeted with a notification to download the App onto my Mac, honestly wasn't expecting that. Prior to downloading it did mention that it was designed for iPhone and iPad only and that it has not been verified for use on a Mac. I normally create routes on my iPad due to my below par eye-sight, however this looks to be just as good, if not better.
Has there been any issues that anyone has experienced using the app on a Mac?
Apologies, I don't frequent the forum too often and I'm pretty sure this has been implemented for a while.
Update: I just created a route and all good. The only issue is the pinch to zoom could be a bit more "incremental" ie finer/ smoother. Also in Dark Mode the route will disappear if you zoom out too far (not an issue in light mode). Other than that works a treat. Also I'm not understanding why you have to pull down to refresh the route list on other devices. Should this not be an automatic process after you save on editing device?
Anyway good job Guido.

There were some issues with zooming out on a Mac: https://scenic.app/forum/topic/zooming-on-mac/
If you like enter “mac” in the forum search and you’ll find some more topics on it.
