Scenic backlog
Quote from GHJ on 25.04.2022, 09:41Hi Guido,
A charming point of Scenic is the transparency about the development and the close contact you have with the users. My compliments for that. I follow the stories and requests on the forum about the features that are in development or planned for the future. You regularly indicate that they are on your list, the Scenic backlog.
Is it possible that you publish the list of upcoming features, for example the top 10 or 15, on your site? This will of course be a dynamic list.

While I do share some of the roadmap of Scenic, I’m not willing to share the list with priorities. As you mentioned, it changes all the time as bug reports and feature request come in and circumstances change.
Sharing the list inevitably creates expectations and, when the list changes (not if), disappointment comes with it. I’ve learned this the hard way. When you are dealing with thousands of users not everyone is as understanding, no matter how well you try to explain.
Hope you understand.
best regards,
Guido
