Quote from AstridM on 12.10.2024, 14:11I just spent some days in Scotland and England using Scenic 4.0 and 4.01. In most of the cases I had no speed limit indication (main roads, major roads and small roads. Since today, I‘m back in Continental Europe (Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg) where I always got the speed limit indication on screen.

Quote from Guido on 12.10.2024, 14:23Scenic 4 needs offline maps to display speed limits.
Having said that, the speed limit data is not as good as in Scenic 3. I'm planning to add speed limit data from a 3rd party provider in a later stage.
If the speedometer has a blue "arch" this means that the speed limit is not known. (either because the offline maps for the region are not installed, or because they are really not known).
Best regards,
Guido

Quote from AstridM on 12.10.2024, 15:27Thanks Guido. Of course I‘m using the offline maps for UK and Continental Europe. I just found the difference in terms of available speed limit data im those 2 regions remarkable. During my trip it felt like speed limit indicators are missing for about 80% or more of the UK roads I traveled, while for the previously mentioned EU countries it was available at a rate of almost 100%.
