Scenic 4.03 and CarPlay

I don't like Scenic blocking access to the iPhone app while I'm in CarPlay. And since iOS blocks logins anyway while CarPlay is active it's overkill.

The other day it also got worse. I stopped mid-trip and wanted to make an alteration in the app, but I couldn't get the CarPlay blocking screen in the app to disappear. I switched off the bike (and thus also the CarPlay), but the blocking screen remained. I disconnected the CarPlay from the bike and power, but still the blocking screen persisted.

At that point I switched to a different navigation app.

As you may have seen, CarPlay is still being worked on: https://scenic.app/scenic-4-faqs/

If you download the latest version v4.04 you will find that the "connected to carplay" screen only appears when you start navigating. I'm releasing new updates amost weekly now and I'm planning to add more functionality to the phone screen while connected to CarPlay.

Thanks. 4.04 isn't available in the Swiss App Store yet.
