Scenic 3 Route Guidance Bug
Hi,
Found another set of bugs in Scenic 3 during yesterdays backroads trip I organized. Two of us ran the same route and were connected with our headsets.
When we ran into a blocked road, I used the blocked road feature and marked the shortest distance as blocked (0.2 miles). The route guidance got totally screwed up from there on. Even though the road blocked had an easy alternative, my Scenic app instead to take me back to the prior via point #6. The other person did not mark the road as blocked and after a few turns his app had a valid solution to get to Via #7 without the blocked road.
So we kept going and he relayed his route guidance via headset to me. Even when we where closer to #7 mind would still insist on u-turns and taking me back to via point #6. I finally opted for Skip next via point but to my surprise it did not remove via #6 but it removed via #7. At least it stopped trying to take me back to via #6. However is also no longer knew about via #7 so I had to continue to leverage my friend for a few key turns until the routes converged and I was back on track.
We then rode the rest of the route and I avoided touching any more things, even though we ran into two more road blocks/construction.
Towards the end of the route I realized that the estimates to the end of the route were all off. Finally found out why. When removing the next via, it also deleted the end of the route and made the last via point the end of the route. About 20 miles short of the actual end. Not a big deal because we know the area well, and I kept recording the ride until I was home.
When I finished saving the ride the next issue happened: 0 points credited to my account for the 7h+ ride with photos. Looks like the ride somehow got corrupted along the way.

PS: The route's name is spelled in reverse on purpose. As it was the inverse of a trip we took prior... 😉
