Saving Photos to iPhone Photo Library

I have the setting turned on to save photos I take through the app while on a trip to my iPhone photo library, but I am not seeing any of them. I see them in the app, but nothing happens when I tap on one. Doesn’t get bigger, no options to do anything. What isn’t this working and how do I get the pictures to my library?

I’m using 4.21, on an iPhone 16 Pro with latest OS.

Could you go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos, and check if Scenic is in that list?

Under Photos, it shows "Add Photos Only". If I click on Scenic, the only options are "Add Photos Only" and "None."

Under Camera, it shows on (as I would expect since I can take photos).

Hmm. Strange. It should add the photos to your library in that case. I will investigate.

Am I supposed to be able to view/open the photos from within the app? I can’t on my iPhone and I tried on my iPad and I can’t view them there either. I just see the circle with a tiny thumbnail I can hardly make out but tapping it doesn’t do anything.

I’m tapping on the recorded ride, tapping on the map so it will let me zoom and move around, then tap on one of the pins with the thumbnail in it. Nothing happens.

If there is anything I can provide or do that will help, just let me know.

Scroll down to below the map… there you will find the pictures again. If you tap them there they will expand to full screen, and you can edit captions, etc.

Silly me, I didn't scroll. I see them now.

Is there a way to save to Photos after the fact? I see a way to add photos to the route but not save photos locally

Found the bug. Will be fixed in the next update.

Unfortunately there is no way to add photos to the library after the fact, other then to take a screenshot and save that screenshot to the library. Sorry.

Hey @guidomm!

Touching base on this. I have 4.22 but I'm still not seeing the photos in the iOS photo library. Was your fix in 4.22 or will it go later?

Along these lines, maybe a feature request for the ability to save photos from the app into the library manually in case you accidentally delete one in your library or something like that? I'm not sure how hard that would be but it would have been nice on a couple of occasions, especially with this latest issue.

The fix is not in 4.22. It is ready though and will be in 4.23 which I'm hoping to release by the end of this week.
