Saved Route Anomaly?

Hi Guido,

Looking ahead to when I get my bike out in the spring. I have a saved route Cherbourg to Orleans (in France). The route time is 6hrs 0mins. However, when I load the route and hit edit (no changes made) the route time goes up to over 9hrs. When I get off the ferry at Cherbourg, which time will be correct? Thanks, love the app and looking forward to V4 improvements.

Is it adding your current location to the route when you select it?

I just put that to the test and loaded a 32 min route which is about 600 miles away from my current location and the 32 min becomes 1hr 8 mins (no changes)

Were these routes created with the precious version of Scenic (Scenic 3.5)? If so, this would explain it.

The duration shown in the route list is the duration it had when the route was saved last (with previous version of Scenic). When you start editing, the route is recalculated.with the new Scdnic 4 routing algorithm.

Scenic 4 switched mapping and routing algorithm. The new route calculation overestimates route duration for some routes. I'm working with the new map provider to find a solution.

Yes. Scenic 4 was released October 1st
