routing in France using motorway

Hi,

I had an issue in France using the highway/motorway from Djon to Avignon. On every exit Scenic wanted me to take the next exit and get off the motorway and back again. Is that a map issue or a scenic issue. The strange thing is that the exit was always no. 9 but it was always at a different exit.

This is a routing mode (and maybe map data) thing probably. I've noticed this myself too. Seems that the routing algorithm is a bit too strict with applying it's routing mode. Do you remember what the routing mode was for this route? Or, better yet, could you share the link to the route with me (if you have it saved)? Side Menu > My Routes > Select the route > 3 dots buton > share link.

Hi Guido,

had the same issue two days ago when driving back from Spain. It only occurs in France but here very often. I will have a look to openstreetmaps.org as I need to correct some map details anyway.

I will also send you a link.

just a quick update. I have checked the OSM maps but did not find a failure……maybe its caused by the routing algorythm.

Hi, that sounds like a map data glitch—Scenic might be misreading the motorway exits; a quick app/map update could help fix it.

Yes... this was fixed in an app update a few versions back.
