Route that passed a future stop then disables future via points to future stop

Some of my routes go to a destination and back or a loop or figure 8. I'll regularly add a stop on the way back for a break, coffee or lunch for example. I've found that when navigatin past the future stop point, Scenic decides that I have reached the stop so disables all the via points leading to it, cutting our route short. Our workaround is to stop the navigation and re-start it at a via point past the stop point.

For example, on this route here: ScenicApp: DTLW CNIGE #2 Sat

Stop #5 is at weighpoint 50. I wanted us to stop here and walk down to the beach to check it out on our way back. However, we decided it would be close to dark so went to it on our way out byt going the 100m off the highway. Scenic then thought we'd completed the route from 41 - 50, including the other stops and greyed them out and tried to navigate us to the next weighpoint 51.

I've had a similar problem on another router where we stopped at a stop for a coffee then did a big loop and came back to a later stop point at the same cafe for lunch.

The detour behaviour settings we are using are:

Recalculate on Detour: On

Self-Correct: On

Auto-skip Via points: On

Skip distance: 500m

I'm wondering if our group detour settings are contributing to this problem and one or more of them needs to be changed to avoid this problem?

Hi DougNZ.

I had this issue too, 3 weeks ago in Monaco.

I planned to ride the GP-Course, cause its public road. We drove to the startpoint and immedieatly the announcement came: target reached.

My fault was: Startpoint and target been too close together.

So i changed it, as you see on the picture. At least it didnt work, police closeed parts of the roads on that day.

Maybe it helps

Regards, Mex

I solved this issue with the following Detour Behaviour settings:

Recalculate on Detour: On

Self-Correct: On

Auto-skip Via points: Changed from On to Off
