Route plan issue seen on macos

Hi, I've zoomed into a planned route and seen this strange part - it looks like it wants me to ride around a layby?

Check the distance and duration. In these cases, often times, it's sending you back and forth on the same stretch of road because the map things it's the only way to get from one waypoint to the next. This can be further down the route, so not necessarily at via 1 or 2 that are visible in the screenshot.
