Route options per section
Quote from GHJ on 14.04.2022, 03:19Hi Guido,
With the powerplanner we can set routing options for the entire route. Can you make it possible to set the options per segment? For example to the first via point on the highway, then a piece of curvy, etc.
I'm a fan of Scenic, but this is a strong point of Calimoto's planner.Regards,

In Calimoto the default is winding and you cannot change it. If you have 10 waypoints you have to change each one individually. Every time you add a waypoint it goes to winding. It drives me mad. One of the many reasons Scenic is so much better.

Quote from Guido on 14.04.2022, 07:22I’m sorry. I can’t change this for the time being. Scenic is dependent of the possibility (and limitations) of its map provider including its routing engine, currently HERE maps. They only support one routing mode in a route. There are several workarounds though)
1) Use via points and force routing the way you want. (obviously this is only effective if you are more or less familiar in the area)
2) Plan your routes on Kurviger.de (they do support multiple routing modes now) and then use their ‘send to scenic’ button.
