- Hello,
is there a way to add things like road hazards, such as pot holes, sunken road, wash out etc…?

The pothole thing would be ideal for where I live. It's like riding a slalom course sometimes.
We have government support apps that show incidents, road works and so on in a supposedly live, as it happens way. It'd be great if Scenic was able to read that data directly, but that would be problematic, I guess, in terms of the number of services which do this world-wide and these services allowing access to their data.

Quote from Gazelle on 21.03.2026, 18:31I completely understand and I (many others) face some of the same issues. It’s so problematic, that route choices would be regularly altered if such data was readily available and known in advance.
I had envisioned this “feature” comparatively like the way Waze handles cars beside the road or police officials attempting to catch law breakers in the act, as a user created and maintained database with obvious checks and balances. Which would then have the potential to be “rented out “ paying something like a royalty back to Scenic.
This feature alone would be worth the premium yearly fee for Scenic IMHO.
LOL

Quote from Guido on 21.03.2026, 18:41I understand. A Waze-like reporting feature.
The difference is that Waze has millions of users, Scenic not so much.
For the moment, until Scenic also has millions of users 🙂, this would be more a feature to report to yourself and the odd Scenic user on the same road. And so, it would only make sense with not so often changing reports (like potholes indeed).
Nevertheless, this is on the list. it’s been requested before. Just not a very high priority so it will be a while I’m afraid.
