Retain name of GPX file upon import?

Would like to request that a Fine Tuning option be created that would allow for the name of GPX files imported from the Scenic Web App to be retained once imported into the iOS app instead of defaulting to "GPS Data".

The GPX file has name fields inside it. Scenic will use those name fields for the Import Queue. If there is no name inside the GPX file then it will use the filename. My guess is that your GPX file has 'GPS Data' as name. Here's a small extract of a GPX file so you see where it might take the name from:
