Restart/reactivate waypoints?

I was on let’s say 17, and suddenly passed 21. I recognized my mistake and wanted to re-activate things so I’d continue on my route to 17, but I couldn’t figure out how to say “restart my route at waypoint x.”
It would be really cool if, in ride mode, not planning mode, I could do something, perhaps a long press on a via and get an option to “continue route from that via (either skipping backwards or forwards) to route back to a skipped waypoint or route forward skipping a segment of a route similar to hitting skip next waypoint several times, which can be awkward and mistake-prone.
Oh and for what it’s worth, I run rides in CarPlay mode.
