Request for Refund Due to Unusable Zoom Function
Quote from Tiggy on 19.04.2025, 14:26Hello Guido,
Hello dear development team,I recently purchased your app and have now tested it extensively on three tours. Unfortunately, I am not at all satisfied with the navigation, mainly due to the automatic zoom function. Regardless of whether it's in 2D or 3D view, whether based on distance or speed: the zoom is so strong that I can't see the course of the route ahead on the display, so I don’t know which lane I should be in or when I will reach the point where I need to change lanes. Having to constantly look at the display due to a lack of overview of the route ahead surely can't be your intention—and it certainly doesn't serve road safety!
An example from today: I’m at a traffic light and am supposed to turn right in 50 meters – but the street I’m supposed to turn onto isn’t even visible on the map. It only gradually appeared on the map when I was about 20 meters away. Another example: On a four-lane highway, I’m supposed to exit in 500 meters. However, the map only shows the current lane, not the exit lane. The navigation arrow stubbornly stays on the highway and only follows the exit when it's actually already too late. The actual exit only becomes visible on the map about 50 meters before. 50 meters at a speed of 80-100 km/h – are you trying to test our reaction times??? Seriously, that’s not acceptable!
I’ve really tried all the settings, but unfortunately with no success. In this state, the navigation makes no sense to me—especially considering that even inexpensive navigation apps handle this much better.
The app is absolutely unusable as a navigation aid for me, so I am requesting a refund of the purchase price, preferably taking into account the usage period.
Thank you & best regards,
Tiggy

I am now on a 5000 km tour, and have made some 2000 km with version four, and the zoom does exactly what I tell it to do. You just have to use the fine tuning option. And if you are at the loss, just move the map a little and you get the plus and minus sign to manually zoom in and out in case you have it on the automatic zoom.

of course I want everyone to be happy and if you’re not the. I’m very sorry about that. Im assuming you went for the 30% discount in stead of the trial period? As all payments go through Apple it’s also Apple that gives the refund. If you need more info please send me a direct email through the email button at the bottom of the help page.

Please read my post in full, I wrote that I tried all possible settings, including the one you described. Still, I’m happy for you if it works so well for you.
