Recording and resume

i decided to record a pretty long trip and at the end U just got the start to the first stop and the following 300 miles were not recorded.

i only need to know if there is a way to the start the recording and stop it when I need or if I have to Resume each time I stop to take a picture or for other reason

since I am using my GPS for direction and the Scenic stay in my pocket it would make it useless for me.

Does Scenic have "Always" location access? This is important if you use it with iPhone in pocket. Otherwise, Scenic can not auto-resume ride tracking. See here for more details: https://scenic.app/help/not-tracking-entire-ride-pause-resume-tracking/
