Random Distance Announcement

On a ride this weekend as I was navigating the screen would show me the next turn and the distance at the top (e.g. Main Street, 6 miles) and then randomly I would get a voice announcement about "In 9 miles..." This happened 2 or 3 times on a 200 mile ride. I think it was 9 miles in both/all occasions but I can't swear to that. I'm not sure if there was a turn at that distance and it was just telling me way too early (telling me about it before the current turn was taken). I was on v4.03 at the time.

Great work Guido, especially given how fast you've had to work.

Mine is giving odd distances too from the audio directions. I'm also getting weird road names, for example I was on the M6 Toll then the M6 and Scenic thought I was on E05

Hi Polabear,

You been on M6 and E05.

E means European Road, in case of 05 it runs from Scottland to Spain. At some stretches the E05 ist your M6. Thats why you see both at the bottom of your screen.

Here is what i found:

Die E05 ist eine Europastraße (von Nord nach Süd) von Greenock (Schottland) nach Algeciras (Spanien), die zumindest einen Teil der M6 umfasst; deshalb sehen Sie sie.

Like @mex mentioned, the E05 is a European name for that piece of road. I realize this doesn’t mean anything in UK though. It’s on my list to see if I can change that to the UK road numbers. Had another report about this. From what I understand so far the E-nr references are only sporadic. Most of the time it actually refers to the M numbers. Can you confirm this?
