Programing Zoom

In the it is possible to program manually the zoom according to the speed. Great

Is it possible instead of using a number (manually) use meters? With a number is not possible to know what it means.

For example at a speed of 80 km/h the zoom will be 100 meters, instead of trying to find out which number it would be.

Instead of: 35-70 km/h  13.0 (and you can increase or decrease) it would be:

35-70 km/h  100 meters(and you can increase or decrease)

Thank you.

I understand what you mean. I assume you are referring to the numbers in meters you see in the map scale, correct?

My honest opinion… I don’t think this will resolve the issue where you don’t really know what you are setting the number to.

A better solution would be to show a map for each speed range and then you set the zoom level by pinch-zooming the map.

Guido, I'm going to go "out on a limb" here and state out loud that it sounds, based on your statement, as if this might be your plan for customizing speed-based zoom settings?  If so, that sounds like a fantastic improvement!

When will it be implemented?  (Just joking...)

🙂 This is quite low on the priority list at the moment.
