Planned ride stays on the screen
Quote from Stresspuppy on 07.10.2024, 12:38I searched for this, and it may just be that I am doing something wrong, but I'm having issues with creating/editing a route, saving, and then just wanting to go for a "track me" kind of ride.
I open or create a new route. All seems to work fine. I press the disk icon (funny that the widely used icon is still the hard "floppy" disk from the 90s, which probably most people under 35 or so have never used, but I digress) and it saves the route as expected. It then takes me back to what I would consider the main screen where I can select Ride or Plan, but the route I was just editing is still there. If I press ride, it then tries to start that route. In Scenic v3, after editing it would take you back to a clean map view with no route so you could just start a "track me" type of ride. To get back to a clean map now, I have to start a ride (the one left on my screen), then stop the ride, and then it puts me back at the generic map that I can work from. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

This is done on purpose. Because many times you want to immediately start riding a route you created.
Or sometimes you even don't want to save a ride, but just ride it once.
