Phone app and Carplay

"I’ve been testing Scenic and doing trials these days to customize it to my liking for the trip I’m starting next week, which will last 12 days. Today, while trying to make changes to the map to get better contrast on my 5" AIO, I realized that as soon as you start navigating, if you’re connected to CarPlay, you can no longer see the app on the phone. This means that if I need to make any changes in the menus, I have to disconnect CarPlay to make adjustments on the phone. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?"

Quote from Guido on 07.09.2024, 12:47At the moment this is not possible. In the big update I’m working on I’m making a few more features available on the phone screen while on CarPlay.
B.t.w. The big update (available October 1st) will have a different map provider this also different map styles. It might not be worth spending a lot of time customizing your map style at this moment.

Is this the "cat's out of the bag moment" - the first direct mention of the map provider change?
