Panning map

Hello,

when I am navigating on a route, sometimes I would like to pan the map but whenever I do this the map snaps back to my current location. Is there anyway to pan so I can “look around“ while I am also currently navigating a route?

also it would be nice to be able to tap 2 fingers and double tap single finger to mimic the zoom behavior of Google maps/Apple Maps. I prefer that to pinch/zoom especially when wearing gloves!

You can double tap the map to go to edit mode. In edit mode you get zoom buttons and you can move around freely. You can also use the 'overview' button in the navigation menu to go to edit mode and zoom out to the entire route.
