Open GPX Files from Google Disk

For some strange reason i'm not getting the "Scenic" as an option in "Open In" in Google Disk... Is there any way to tell IOS that Scenic is an app that can open Google Disk stored GPX  files ?

Appreciate any help

That's very strange. It works with all other apps, but indeed I just checked and it doesn't work with the Google Drive app. I will investigate why and correct if necessary. Meanwhile, what you could do, is access your Google Drive via the iOS files app and open the GPX from there. Then Scenic will show up in the list of apps.

If you're enjoying Scenic and are happy with the support, please leave a nice rating in the App Store. It would mean a lot to me ❤️

OK. Did some more research. This is more of a bug in Google Drive than it is in Scenic. Google Drive marks GPX files as regular XML files. Scenic will only open files that are actually (marked as) GPX file. In the next update I have configured Scenic to also open regular XML files... so it will now show in the list when "open in" from Google Drive is selected. Next update will be released in about 2 weeks.

Thanks Guido, i shall be waiting in patience 🙂

I had the same issue after importing a GPX file from GAIA into Drive and then not finding the Scenic icon when trying to "Open In".

Interestingly it worked under the Scenic 2, and thank you for the heads up on the next update. Cheers.
