One finger Zoom in/out

I’ve been paralleling Scenic and my Garmin. I cannot find a way to Zoom in or out on the map in the Scenic app as I can on the Garmin. Is it possible and I just don’t know how? Help please.

If you are not in navigation mode you can pinch-zoom with thumb and index finger.

In navigation mode, by default, the map is in auto-zoom (zooms in and out based on your speed). If you want to manually zoom you can tap the 'overview' button in the 'big button' menu. Or double tap the map. Both will bring the map in overview mode where you also pinch-zoom or use big zoom buttons that appear.

Alternatively you can put zoom to manual (Settings > Navigation & Tracking > Zoom) in stead of automatic. This will add two zoom buttons on the map in navigation mode.

If you're enjoying Scenic and are happy with the support, please leave a nice rating in the App Store. It would mean a lot to me ❤️

Thanks. Just the help I was looking for

This don’t work on M1 MacBook, I don’t know if Scenic is meant to work on MacBooks, but most functions do.

Much easier to plan routes on a bigger screen.

On the mac you can pinch-zoom with two fingers, and you can zoom by holding <command> key down while moving two fingers up/down on touchpad (or mouse scrollwheel up/down)
