Offline popup

When Scenic can’t get a network connection an offline popup appears and blocks the view of the route map in progress. It is persistent and won’t go away until dismissed by manual input. Incredibly frustrating to stop the bike everytime I dip out of internet connection.  Please make it a temporary popup instead of persistent. Thanks!

I'll have a look at that. Thanks for pointing my attention to this.

Meanwhile... what you could do, is download the offline maps for the region you are riding in. That will eliminate the need for Scenic to connect during navigation, and thus will prevent this alert from showing all together.
