Offline Maps will not finish downloading iPad

Maybe I can get some help here. I downloaded my offline maps on my iPad but it will not “finish”. The circle is complete and looks done, but it stays in the Not Downloaded category.

Everything is fine and works great on my phone, it is just on my iPad.

This happens sometimes, but haven’t been able to figure out why to be honest.

Could you try closing Scenic by swiping up in the app switcher and then reopening? If you reopen, what state are the downloads in at that point?

Closed the app. Restarted my iPad. By the status, looks as if it’s all downloaded, just won’t finish/install.

This is not good. It means that it won’t recognize Germany as downloaded, and will go online for calculations and showing the map. Best is to logout of scenic and log back in again. Then redownload. I recommend to keep scenic foreground while downloading… and if possible make sure your screen doesn’t go to sleep. That’s the fastest (downloads are slower in the background) and most reliable way (less chance of interruptions / connection drops).

I’ll take a look at why this happens and make adjustments if possible.

Hi folks.

Had this issue on my iPad as well.

My workaround: Stopped all downloads. Downloaded one country, and all other step by step. Worked really fast. Never download several countries at once.

Sometimes updating the maps is really slow. Since 3.12 updates work really fast.
