Odd behavior after duplicating a route
Quote from oldgeezer on 22.02.2024, 09:28Guido,
I encountered some unexpected behavior yesterday when duplicating a previously created route. It is highly repeatable, and occurs on both the iOS and iPadOS versions of Scenic 3.52, using iOS / iPadOS 17.3.1
Steps to duplicate:
1) Create a new route. One with just start and end points will do. Tap “Save”, give the route a name, and tap “Save”. The route appears in the folder as expected.
2) Tap on the newly created route. Tap on the “Duplicate” button. Tap the “Make Copy” button on the popup.
3) Tape on “Save”. Accept the default name of the original route name with “copy” appended, and tap “Save”.
4) Scenic returns to the detail screen for the original route, not the one for the newly duplicated copy as expected.
5) Dismiss the detail screen for the original route by tapping on the “x”. The original route is displayed in the folder, but the duplicate copy is not.
6) Tap on the original route. Tap on the “Delete” button on the detail screen, and confirm the deletion on the popup.
7) At this point, neither the original nor the copy of the route is displayed in the folder. Tap on another folder, then tap on the original folder. The duplicate copy of the route is now displayed.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff
