No Internet - Offline Maps and GPX on iPhone.
Quote from DaggerRPM on 23.06.2025, 09:32Hi All,
Sorry I posted this in a reply but thought it may be best to start my own subject. In the Lake District over the weekend in the alleys and such so the signal was very sketchy so I decided to pay for the subscription with the mindset that I have the GPX stored locally on my iPhone nd I set the Maps to be offline.
Reality was a little different though. Although the Maps were showing when I had no signal and I could see and add the GPX files. When I selected Ride it Stated "No Internet" and wouldnt let me start the ride. I ended up having to ride up a valley, get the signal then add the ride. (Sadly I had broken the days riding down to the stop points so it was a few times that day)
