No end to avg speed camera warning

Hi,

not sure where this belongs, but yesterday I was riding the E134 Mælefjell Tunnel and got the average speed camera warning prior and during the tunnel. However the message persisted for for many km’s (15-20km) after the tunnel, whilst the camera section was well over. At some point it went away. Maybe scenic missed a flag to notice the end of the speed camera section?

My wife and I had that last week. The banner was there on both our phones for 40 miles.

It was the latest version at the time. I can’t check for a few weeks as we’ve come to Mexico on holiday

I'll check what's going on. Could be a bug in the logic, or a map data issue where the map doen not know or is not sending the "end of avg speed zone" signal.  I suspect it's the latter. Otherwise, i'd probably have received more reports. @Dae, do you remember where this happened in your case?

If you're enjoying Scenic and are happy with the support, please leave a nice rating in the App Store. It would mean a lot to me ❤️

Unfortunately I can’t remember exactly where it started, but it was on our return from Scarborough in the UK to Leeds, close to Holme Upon Spalding Moor. It stayed on for about 40 miles, so I can’t be more exact.

With me, the warning goes on quite correct before the Osofjordtunnel, but stayes on until I am out + a short strech although the measuring strech ends in the middle of the tunnel.

I had the exact same issue last week, near Saint Nicolas de la Grave (France) going north.  The warning staid on until i got home at Saint Nazaire de Valentane.  I had this issue across France 3 or 4 times, the warning went off but after sometimes 100km.  This is annoying as some infos are hidden during the warning.  I’m using CarPlay on a 2023 GW non tour.   Kind regards, Laurent

Guido, maybe you could add a code that switches off the warning after a certain distance/time? That would be helpful.  Great app by the way, will guide us through France tomorrow…
