New waypoint type - mix of stop and via
Quote from nick123123 on 16.08.2024, 12:27During my recent visit to the UK's Peak District, I was wowed by the incredible routes, curves, and hills. To plan my daily routes, I relied on Scenic's VIAs. However, I often found myself unsure of my exact location.
In an attempt to address this, I converted VIAs to STOPs to make use of Scenic's location announcements. Unfortunately, the announcement was followed by the misleading "you have reached your destination" message, which wasn't true.
Therefore, I would like to request the implementation of a new type of waypoint or a switch that allows for location announcements without the unnecessary closing commentary.

I recall on the Garmin if you had a route planned it would display the next stop coming up in x km/y mins or something like that.
I know that Scenic will alert you to the next turn in terms of distance, but I haven't noticed anything for stops or vias that I can recall.
I'm going out today so I'll plot a route and see what it does.
