will the new functions be adopted from here in scenic?
It would be interesting for e.g. 125s and smaller and would make the app even more attractive and versatile.
especially when it comes to planning travel time.

For example, I like to plan tours with a scooter or a 125 and try to anticipate the times (for example, if the woman wants to drive herself, she only has a license for the 125. But I'm also in a 50 scooter club and like that on the road. just not always with 500ccm+...)
It would be a good help and makes the app interesting for more than just motorcyclists.

In my experience up to this point, travel time estimates have... how shall I put this nicely?... never been Scenic's strong point. Hopefully the big update coming soon will provide more accurate predictions, regardless of vehicle top speed capabilities.

Can't deny this 🙂. Big update is a bit better from what I've seen.

The new HERE framework that the big update will use does not have the same options as Kurviger. I.e. I can't set a max speed for a routing. But it does have a scooter routing, which should render similar results. I'll add this to the feature request list... won't be soon though, as this requires quite some changes throughout the app and the database.

For what it's worth, this will also help me since I'm on a Vespa 300cc scooter. I've been using Waze and have it setup to avoid highways which kinda gets me close to what I am looking for, but this would add another dimension.

Hi folks.

As a workaround:

Plan your ride with powerplaner. It says: 150 km for example.

Check your stats. There you see your personal average speed. Mine is 57 km/h.

So it will be: 150 / 57 = 2 hours 51 minutes.

Calculate plus 20 minutes for breaks and gasstation.

Your ride will last 3 hours 15 minutes without deviation or traffic jam.

That's a good idea, but this is about people who sometimes change vehicles and sometimes travel with smaller engine displacements
The average doesn't help you much because you travel differently with 50cc than with 500 or more

For those who mostly drive the same machine, the calculation may be somewhat correct

The approach from here maps is a good way with the top speed individually adapted to the vehicle or for people who simply want to drive at a maximum of 120 kmh, for example

Scenic should not only be attractive to motorcyclists with a lot of cubic centimeters, but should also appeal to everyone who rides motorized vehicles in the fresh air "with a helmet".
reach a broad audience, so to speak.

But it's not just about the arrival time
also about the different calculation of the route, the surface and much more
