Hi Guido

In previous versions you had the ability to disable voice announcements like road names, signpost, road numbers. I have not seen it in V4 so willl they be returing anytime soon?

Lastly, my garage is underground and each time i start scenic while still down there (or enter after a ride) it immidiately reads my speed as 125km/h. It does this for 2-3 seconds and then corrects itself. Not an issue just letting you know.

Hi Jason,

It's still there. Tap this button to cycle through 'no sound', 'alerts only' or 'sound on'.

thanks for the reply but that is not what i am referring to. Your button allows Voice on, Voice off or Alerts only.

What i am referring to is in version 3 you allowed finer control of the voice instructions. There were toggle buttons in the setting area where i could select to either have or diable certain instrctions, like for example road names and numbers.

By diabling road names as an example, the instrction would be just 'turn left in 50m" and not "turn left in 50m onto boulevard saint denis"

this finer control is what i would love to see come back as it drascially reduces the voice instructions.

Ah. Sorry Jason. I misunderstood. I’ll add this to the feature request list again. The new map provider does not have this configurability out of the box, so will have to dive into this a little deeper to see if I can do something custom.
