Name of village while riding
Quote from Bixio on 06.06.2024, 14:52Hi Guido, I am a big fan of Scenic and I recommend it at every opportunity.
There is one feature that I wish it had: when riding (following my a route that I have planned with Scenic or following someone with Scenic on Map mode), when I am within the boundaries of a village, I would love to see the name of the village displayed on top of the screen. Currently, when I follow my own route, I see the street name. This is rarely useful to me, as I am rarely looking for an address in a city. Instead, I ride in the countryside, and often wonder about the name of the village that I am passing through.
Best wishes

Quote from BikerMike on 06.06.2024, 16:56I add stops with the name of the places I go through so at some point I get told the place names. For example on the approach road to a town before it gets complicated with navigating through the town. It is also handy the as I can see the distance to the next stop (town) as well as the remaining total route distance.
