Multi-Day Route

What would be the best way to set up a route where I really don't know what my start and end point will be from day to day, but I intend to follow a planned route over many many days? Should I just break it up into segments, or is there a way to save the whole route and just pick it up from wherever I end up each day?

That’s a tough one indeed. If I were in your place, I would create one big route and save that for reference. But don’t use that for navigation.

Assuming you at least have a rough plan where you want to end up the next day, you duplicate that route and cut away the parts you don’t need. Then when you arrive at your night stop, do it again for the next day.

You could create a folder and naming convention to keep all the routes together and in order.

This way you can plan ahead as far as you realistically can, but always have the big route for reference.

You could use the big route for navigation too. Then select if for navigation, and then tap the ‘join route at’ and choose another option:

Depending on how long your route is this might have performance impacts and might influence recalculation times. Also your ETA will not mean much obviously.
