i realised, that in scenic map style configuration , there ist a sign for Mountain pass
bit on the map itself there nowhere this symbol, eeven not on a real pass.
On the osm wiki homepage there is also no symbol for Mountain pass as a cross! Intead as an saddle Symbol!

First of all, the term "Tiefster Punkt im Tal" (Valley lowest point) is not correct. This term should be changed to "Saddles" (the highest point between two mountains). Now, typically (but not always), a saddle is at the same location as a mountain pass. In fact, in OSM, they are typically the same node. Take the Brenner pass for example (https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/508401093). This has both the tag mountain_pass=yes and natural=saddle. This means that Scenic will show 2 POI icons at the same location. One because it has tag mountain_pass=yes, and one because it has natural=saddle. So, these are drawn on top of each other. At the moment, for custom map styles, the natural=saddle is drawn over the mountain pass, so you don't see the mountain pass icon (a cross in Scenic). If you hide the saddle (Tiefster Punkt im Tal), you will see the cross appear. I'm sticking with the cross, because I don't want there to be any confusion between what's a saddle and what's a mountain pass.
I will fix both issues for the next update:
(1) Rename the "Tiefster Punkt im Tal" (Valley lowest point)
(2) Make sure that mountain_pass is drawn on top of saddle.
OK. I figured it out.
