More options for the voice messages?

Hi Guido, just purchased your app in the lifetime version and using it on an Apple CarPlay display on my Honda Africa Twin.

In my humble opinion the voice announcements have room for improvement. I use the German female voice, and it has annoying gaps in it. Instead of saying "Bitte biegen Sie in 500 Metern rechts ab" the voice says "Bitte biegen Sie (Pause) in 500 Metern (Pause) rechts ab." This is slightly annoying. Apart from that I think that the voice announcements come too often. When I enter a street, have to follow this street for one kilometer and then turn left, I get four announcements - at 1 km, at 500 m, at 200 m and at the intersection. When riding through a city, the lady more or less is constantly talking.

What do you think about options to adjust the voice commands to the user's preferences?

Hi Sampleman,

I'm working on a big update that also includes a new audio engine. This should solve the problem with the pauses in the voice.

As for the frequency/amount of voice instructions... the big update will have some configuration options for that (see screenshots for preliminary implementation).

When is the big update coming out? Aiming for October.

Hi Guido,

Has the above voice setting screens been implemented in Scenic 3 (I cannot find them) or are they in the 2024 January update ?
