Missing information during Tracking

Hello

I use Scenic (premium) with iPhone and Car Play from Honda CRF1100 Africa Twin. If I choose „Tracking“ on the display from the bike , the information about time and distance is empty all the time. If I use Scenic without Car Play, there is the information about time und distance on the mobile display. I checked all possibilities to change, but no result. Can You help?

I'm aware. This is an Apple CarPlay limitation. Apple CarPlay is very restricted and works through 'templates'. When in navigation mode it always expect to have a route to navigate, and an arrival time, distance to destination and duration to destination to go with it. However when you are just tracking, there is no destination, no arrival time, etc. But, because it's in navigation mode, it still displays these placeholders.

I'm planning a workaround for this in the future, where I won't put CarPlay in navigation mode at all if you are just tracking. This is quite some work, because when CarPlay is not in navigation mode, you lose a lot of other functionality that you normally would like while navigating.
