Marker to notice that I'm on a recalculated route
Quote from SuperGraupe on 09.03.2026, 04:18Is it possible to highlight the VIA at the bottom of the screen in a different colour after recalculating the route (e.g. because a VIA was not marked as visited)?
Not all VIAs are recognised as visited, even if I drive close by.My problem is that I cannot immediately see whether the system is rerouting me or whether I am still on the original route.
I have had to stop a few times to check the overview to see what Scenic is planning, and only then was I able to delete the VIA that were already behind me.Thanks,
Michael

(1) this could be confusion (I can already imagine the questions coming in "Why does the marker down there change color"?)
(2) It would turn into a different color at each recalculation. Even if you deviate from the route to go to a gas station for example. I.e. when the via point is NOT behind you. I don't see any reliable way to distinguish between a recalculation because a via point was not marked as reached, or a recalculation because of another reason.I think it's better for me to focus on the real problem. Why are via points not marked as reached when you pass them?

Sometimes I get a notification that a stop has been reached, but it is not marked as reached.
This happens when I don't stop at the stop but just pass it.
How big can the distance be for it to still be marked as visited, or is there also a speed limit?
Thanks,
Michael

Quote from Guido on 10.03.2026, 15:22It's not distance dependent as such.
When you are navigating, you see the route behind you turn gray. When that gray reaches a waypoint (via or stop), the waypoint itself should also turn gray. It might take a second or two, but it should turn gray.
