Map Orientation while Following Tracks

When I'm using Scenic to follow tracks, I'm not entering into any kind of navigation mode. I am just opening the app and allowing it to show the map with me centered on the map. As I ride the app updates to keep me centered on the map, however the map orientation is always 'north is up'.
I'd like to be able to change the map orientation while in this mode. How can I do this?

To put it differently… the start/main screen is not intended for when you are riding. It’s only for planning/preparing. For riding, with or without destination/route, you always have to tap the start ride’ button.

Yes. Even if you didn’t select a route or destination, you can tap the ‘start ride’ button. Then ride recording will start. And only then will you have the possibility to have ‘heading up’.
To put it differently… the start/main screen is not intended for when you are riding. It’s only for planning/preparing. For riding, with or without destination/route, you always have to tap the start ride’ button.
