Just planning a route. Noticed the labelling for what we call the Princes Freeway in eastern Victoria, Australia.

It says M1 Princes Freeway and 94 Princes Freeway.

Any idea on what the 94 label means?

Note: M1 is the freeway's official designation.

Don’t know what it stands for but this road has two reference names in the map data. M1 and 94:

I might reach out to the map folks and see if they have an answer to it.

It's not an issue. It's merely my curiosity getting the better of me, I guess.
