Managing shared routes with real time updates or shared settings

I create the whole thing (as owner) and can share a special managed trip (to riders) that includes waypoints, settings and views as a read-only experience for the other riders. If I change waypoints or views, they auto-update. When I end the share, they can either go back to their original settings or keep the new ones they've juste experienced. This one requires way more development but since I couldn't find any other app doing this, it could end up as a nice premium feature.Thanks for considering!

Once you share the route, and another user ads it to his routes, you remain the owner and any edit you do afterwards, will propagate to anyone with the route in his route list.

I understand your point. But to be honest, I don't think I will build a feature to share settings with others. Exporting settings and importing them on another device might be even more complicated for some, than just sharing screenshots of your settings, or having the two phones side by side.
The default settings that Scenic has when first installing the app are the settings that work best for most use cases, and concretely, the only settings that can influence routing during navigation are the detour behavior settings.
